KAFUE NATIONAL PARK

Zambia’s Biggest Wildlife Stronghold

Kafue National Park is the oldest and largest in Zambia extending over 22,500 sq km, and with more mammal species recorded than any other African reserve. The Busanga Plains at the northern end of the park are a great place to start. These flood plains provide fertile grazing ground for massive herds of buffalo, and are well known for their prides of lions, as well as cheetah, leopards and wild dog.
