Place of Elephants.
Ivory Lodge is in the key home range of the Presidential Elephant herd made famous by Alan Elliot in the 1980’s.
The Lodge comprises of a Main Thatched dining and lounge area overlooking a guest swimming pool with uninterrupted views of a watering hole which is frequented by elephants, predators and a number of plains game species. The rooms themselves are creatively built on stilted wooden platforms offering elevated views of the open watering hole in front of camp.
The rooms are fitted with mosquito nets and all rooms are fairly open, therefore we provide electric blankets during our winter months.
The lodges have a scenic view of the waterhole, offering guests a more intimate safari experience.
