Camp on the floodplain
Chitabe Camp is built on raised decks to provide superb views across an expansive floodplain. Thanks to its mosaic of habitats, a plethora of plains game is seen on day and night drives as well as guided walks.
Eight spacious tents with fine-art wildlife photographs are set on elevated wooden decks. The walkways and main area are being rebuilt, along with a new 12-metre lap pool and gym, ready in June 2018. In keeping with our light footprint, much of the decking and gumpoles will be reused and recycled in the new structure.
CAMP INFORMATION
Location: Situated on a beautiful old tree-island in a prime wilderness locale in the south-east of the Okavango Delta.
Access: By road or air charter.
Accommodation: 8x spacious tents with fine-art wildlife photographs are set on elevated wooden decks.
Activities: Game drives, night drives, walking safaris, bird watching.
Season: All season
Age Restriction: Children over the age of 16 years are welcome.
